Event Details

Debra Smith Renard, genealogical researcher and lecturer specializing in genetic genealogy will be conducting a workshop on DNA and how it is used in genealogy with two focused discussions.  The morning session (10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) will feature the the use of DNA in tracing family trees and the afternoon session (1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.), following a lunch break will be dedicated to the use of DNA in finding adopted or lost family members.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch or go out on their own for refreshment.
