Join Librarians Yolanda and Roseann for a lively discussion of several Picture Books, including a Caldecott Winner, that explore the African American Experience in America …in colorful, poignant and dramatic fashion.

Discuss why sharing from a young age the rich culture and heritage of the Black American is important and is culturally relevant today, especially to the perception of black people by other races.
